Verona (Pro) Academy
The academy runs every Sunday morning at our home ground in Grove Road, Coolmine Park for boys and girls aged 4-8 years old.
The under 5/6 age group session is 10am-11am with games and drills that focus on the fundamentals of football. Our main aim at this age is to improve the basic skills of control, shooting, dribbling and passing with an emphasis to work on balance and co-ordination.
The under 7 age group session is 11am-12pm. Our aim with this group is to prepare the children for under 8 league football with a focus on drills at a much higher tempo. We also introduce the children to friendly games against other academies such as Tolka Rovers, Home Farm and Belvedere and of course local clubs

How much does it cost?*
The academy runs 12 months of the year and costs €50 every quarter. (July/Sept - Oct/Dec etc.)
Academy kits are €50 to purchase and this includes a rain-top, training jersey, shorts and socks.

Our Coaches*
Our academy coaches are dedicated to teaching children the fundamentals of football and also life skills that will help them right through the early stages of their football life. Our goal is football with a huge emphasis on fun!
Gavin Doyle is our Academy Director and is joined by Damien Brennan and a team of dedicated qualified coaches who are passionate about passing their knowledge and love of football to the children in Verona!
